The primary duty of the CADD Technician is to perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques. Works independently with occasional advice from supervisor or peers. Should have good, working skills in CADD operations.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Associate or technical school degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD and other CAD software.
  • Technically oriented with the rudimentary thought process to visualize constructs in 3-dimensional space.
  • Periodic field assignments

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience
  • Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Experience with 3D Coordination tools
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
  • Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
