Systems Engineer

You Have:
  • Experience with Systems Engineering, including System Architecture and Design, Requirements Analysis and Management, Interface Definition and Management, Verification and Validation, or Trade Study Design and Execution
  • Experience with providing systems engineering support to development, operations, or sustainment
  • Experience with mapping system requirements, system analysis, system data modeling, and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering tools and system development lifecycle processes
  • Ability to translate technical needs into requirements
  • Ability to define and track technical debt, risks, and opportunities at a tactical and strategic level
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with working across a broad spectrum of stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile processes and tools
  • Experience with using knowledge management tools
  • Knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, network protocols and architectures, and cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to think analytically and problem-solve
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
  • Security +, CISSP, CASP, or CSEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
