Description
SAIC seeks a full-time Associate Systems Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. Description

Job Duties:
- Support System Engineering Team with requirements management and model-based systems engineering.
- Develop data sharing strategies between System Engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and iRIS.
- Support development of requirements.
- Support Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects to include risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant STEM concentration.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and resolve gaps.
- Experience using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Java, and DXL.
- Experience with object-oriented databases such as SQL.
Desired:
- Experience sustaining ground-based radar systems (GBRs), or other Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems such as UEWR or PAVE PAWS.
- Knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) mission and associated enterprise.
- DoD relevant certification (i.e., Security + (ce), CSSLP, CISSP-ISSEP)
