Travel: Up to 70% Required for VA EHR deployment sites
Interview Process: Phone + Video

Important Note

This role is 100% remote but requires up to 70% travel to Medical Centers for EHR deployments.
Must have prior Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare experience.

Job Description

The Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) acts as an advisor and analyst supporting operations of Electronic Health Record systems, programs, and clinical processes for EHRM-IO.
You will collaborate with the Site Technical Liaison to review, analyze, plan, and coordinate technical aspects of EHR programs, policies, and system deployments.

The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex systems using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of professional work experience

Expertise in planning, designing, and overseeing deployment of enterprise-wide information architectures

Strong understanding of:

Computer hardware & software

Operating systems

Middleware

Communications systems

Security components

Ability to ensure compatibility with open systems architecture standards

Experience identifying interfaces between enterprise applications and legacy environments

Supports program/project planning, milestones, and business case analysis

Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

(OR additional 8 years of experience in lieu of degree)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR)
