Eli Lilly and Company seeks an Engineer-TS/MS Microbiology (R1 - R3) to monitor in-process microbiological data and present analyses. Provide on-the-floor microbiological support for manufacturing processes including generation and maintenance of manufacturing support documentation. Lead deviation investigations to troubleshoot suspected microbiological contamination incidents. Oversee process contamination prevention and control according to Contamination Control Strategy. Develop in-process microbiological acceptance criteria, sampling requirements, summations, procedures, and reports. Support microbiological requirements for in-process hold time studies as well as small-scale studies to support hold time, resin cleaning, and other process validation activities. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related STEM field and 2 years of experience with aseptic manufacturing operations. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience performing deviation investigations using FMEA and FTA; 2 years of experience developing acceptance criteria based on performance capability; 2 years of experience process monitoring and trending process parameter performance; 2 years of experience with technical writing including position papers, validation reports, and microbiological investigations; and 2 years of experience providing on-the-floor support to manufacturing operations including authoring SOPs. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. Up to 5% domestic and international travel may be required. #LI-DNI

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
