Job Details

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Summit Developer with strong expertise in designing, customizing, and maintaining Summit (Finastra) applications for capital markets and treasury operations. T
he ideal candidate will have experience with financial products, trade life cycle, risk management, and integration of Summit with upstream and downstream systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements and customizations in Summit.

  • Work on Summit APIs, scripting, and services for system integration and automation.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Develop, optimize, and support trade workflows, pricing models, and risk calculations.

  • Integrate Summit with other internal and external systems (e.g., market data, regulatory reporting, risk platforms).

  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

  • Participate in upgrades, migrations, and testing of new Summit releases.

  • Prepare technical documentation and provide support/training to business users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Summit Developer in a banking/financial services environment.

  • Strong knowledge of capital markets products (FX, MM, Derivatives, Fixed Income, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with Summit scripting (SGL, SGP, Python, C++/Java preferred).

  • Familiarity with Summit APIs, services, and integration methods.

  • Experience with trade life cycle, risk, and P&L reporting.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
