Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite - Only Locals)
Duration: 12 months contract
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The role involves building and optimizing scalable backend systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for performance and security.
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for data modeling and queries.
- Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with frontend, architecture, and business teams for scalable solutions.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of Java backend development experience.
- Strong skills in Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Hands-on with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Knowledge of design patterns, performance tuning, and security best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to pharma/medical domain applications.
