Job Summary/Purpose:

Provides support on Operational Technology (OT) systems including plant process computer monitoring 1000's of parameters per second and the plant's physical security systems. Primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Computer Support Group in ensuring the availability of Computer Systems for end users, and support the planning, design, development, and testing of new applications and enhancements.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide operational support to the IT Department as needed
Support, analysis, and testing of computer systems and software
Perform Cyber Security media scanning and computer hardening according to written procedures
Assist with walk-downs and Cyber analysis of IT systems
Assist with compliance of Software Quality Assurance procedures and requirements for approved software
Lead small IT system recovery and enhancement projects
Review system software code to assist with troubleshooting of system issues
Look for ways to improve the overall IT processes

Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities :
Good to have knowledge of Networking Support (Cisco), C Programming Language, and software development process Helpful to have knowledge of one of the following Operating Systems: MS Windows, UNIX or Linux

Minimum Education:
  • Pursuing undergrad or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field is preferred
  • GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher is required
