Senior Software Engineer - VRM/TPRM Developer

Type: Contractual (18+ months, Convert to hire opportunity after 6 months)

Location(s): Des Moines, IA - Charlotte, NC - Minneapolis, MN - Chandler, AZ

Worksite Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days home-office, No Exceptions)

At CLIENT, we're seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will play a key role in developing and maintaining solutions that streamline business processes and workflows using the ServiceNow platform or related technologies. Below is a typical job description for this position:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Analysis:
    • Understand business/user requirements to formulate and develop solutions under the guidance of lead developers on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Task Management:
    • Follow project management methodologies (such as waterfall or agile) and work on user stories/tasks aligned with the project.
  • Customization and Configuration:
    • Customize and configure the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business needs. This includes creating new scoped applications, workflows, business rules, UI pages, and integrations with other systems.
  • Integration:
    • Utilize integration capabilities of the ServiceNow platform to integrate third-party systems using various methods and techniques for data exchange and orchestration.
  • Data Management (Good to have):
    • Experience in importing data into the ServiceNow system or exporting data from the ServiceNow system using platform capabilities.
  • Development and Scripting:
    • Write and maintain scripts and code (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) for ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
  • Secure Coding:
    • Adhere to security best practices and compliance standards, managing user access, data protection, and sensitive information handling.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Optimize ServiceNow performance and monitor system health for smooth and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    • Provide technical support to resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Documentation:
    • Document technical solutions and develop related project artifacts.

Certifications:
  • MUST HAVE:
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Good to have:
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
    • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS - RC/TPRM)
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist (CAS)
    • Micro Certification related to Integrated Risk Management

Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Information Technology from a reputable institution.
  • Working experience with Fortune Customers (Advantage)
