The client is seeking an experienced and innovative Platform Architect with a minimum of 12 years of experience in enterprise platform architecture and design, preferably with a background in building AI/ML/data systems. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing a modern, robust, and scalable multi-cloud AI platform on AWS, leveraging technologies such as microservices, and AI/ML frameworks, including LLMs. The role requires strong collaboration skills to translate strategic objectives into technical specifications and a deep understanding of enterprise cloud security, integration patterns, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible. The ideal candidate must possess excellent problem-solving, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.

As a Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing a modern, robust and scalable AI technology platform that enables the AI-powered transformation of work experiences in enterprises. You will leverage your expertise in modern AI/ML/data, cloud technologies and enterprise software to architect and build a world-class, enterprise AI platform that is secure, reliable that can support the ever-evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with AI research/engineering, software engineering, product, design and business stakeholders to fully understand strategic objectives and user requirements and translate those insights into actionable technical specifications for the client platform

Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive enterprise multi-cloud platform strategy, leveraging cutting-edge cloud, enterprise, AI and machine learning technologies (think microservices, containers, K8s, AI services, LLMs, Foundation models, AI Agent frameworks etc.).

Secure, scalable and efficient platform that enables fast innovations and iterations, while simultaneously delivering reliable, robust and cost-effective services for customers.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform health and performance.

Develop and maintain platform documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines.

Stay up to date on the latest cloud and AI technologies and best practices and continuously evaluate and implement improvements to the platform.

Mentor and guide junior engineers on platform architecture principles.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 12+ years of experience in enterprise platform architecture and design, preferably with experience building AI/ML/data systems and platforms.

Proven experience in building and deploying cloud-based solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Deep understanding of container technologies.

In-depth knowledge of enterprise cloud security principles and best practices.

Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and APIs.

Experience with DevOps methodologies and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.

Experience with AI/ML/data technologies and their integration into enterprise platforms.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
