We are looking for an experienced software quality engineer to help us create and execute a testing strategy for the advanced suite of applications supporting Vision Pro.
Description You will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test coverage for hardware and software features. This includes authoring test cases, identifying regressions, and driving bugs to resolution through clear, concise reporting. You'll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to validate functionality, performance, and stability across product areas. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as you'll be interfacing with development, QA, and program teams. This role demands a highly technical and detail-oriented mindset, along with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for product quality.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of development lifecycles, QA methodologies, and structured test processes
- Experience creating comprehensive test plans and cases based on product requirements and user scenarios
- Skilled in debugging across hardware and software layers with a focus on root cause and impact
- 3-5+ years of QA experience in AR/VR systems and hardware & software integration products
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong foundation in QA methodologies with a systematic approach to test planning, case development, and full stack validation
- Demonstrated ability to ship stable, high quality features under fast-paced development cycles while ensuring performance and regression coverage
- Proficient in Python or Swift with hands-on automation development in Xcode, emphasizing UI validation and real world device use cases
- Skilled in root cause analysis and bug triage, with a sharp eye for identifying high impact issues and driving them to resolution
- Effective communicator with a proven track record of cross functional influence, driving alignment on quality risks and release decisions
