Job Details
SQL BI Developer
Houston, TX
Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
Requirement:
- SQL, Python and pySpark
- MS BI stack SSIS/SSAS/SSRS
- Strong in SQL Server but have exposure to other data sources.
- Azure Cloud Experience (especially around its storage, Serverless technologies and fabric platform)
- Good understanding of working with big datasets (>100Gb)
- Performance tuning of SQL code and ETL pipelines (SSIS / ADF / PySpark Notebook)
- Well versed with Kimbal methodology
- Must have worked on a couple of end-to-end BI Project.
