Program Description
Support enterprise-wide IT projects for new construction, renovations, and Enterprise IT projects. The program provides strategic guidance, project planning, oversight, and management for the implementation of Enterprise technology across new construction, renovations, and IT projects within the agency. Through coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders and end-user groups, the program ensures that all initiatives are planned, designed, constructed, integrated, and delivered using a hybrid systems development and systems engineering lifecycle (SDLC and SELC) methodology. This approach guarantees the deployment of the latest and most advanced Enterprise technology, driving efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
Participates as needed in all phases of development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases. Is specialized in wireless technology. Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications.
Subject matter expert (SME) advisor for wireless enclave experience.
Advise on design and validation of wireless systems to include cellular, 5G, Wi-Fi, UHF, HF, VHF, Bluetooth, distributed antenna systems (DAS), wireless intrusion detection systems (WIDS), wireless intrusion prevention systems (WIPS), and satellite communications.
Assist with conducting and completing wireless surveys/ heatmap generation (i.e. iBwave);. SME advisor on wireless design, model tuning and design augmentation decisions, spectrum interference resolution (i.e. Ekahau), wireless site surveys, RF planning, wireless policy, architecture design.
Work in cross-team collaboration atmosphere and provide SME stakeholder communication.
Required Skills
Active TS or SCI and eligible for Poly
13+ years Previous Federal Government wireless enclave experience.
Experience with design and validation of wireless systems to include cellular, 5G, Wi-Fi, UHF, HF, VHF, Bluetooth, distributed antenna systems (DAS), wireless intrusion detection systems (WIDS), wireless intrusion prevention systems (WIPS), and satellite communications.
Experience conducting and completing wireless surveys/ heatmap generation (i.e. iBwave), wireless design, model tuning and design augmentation decisions.
Experience with spectrum interference resolution (i.e. Ekahau), wireless site surveys, RF planning, wireless policy and architecture design, and cross-team collaboration and stakeholder communication.
