Scope of Work:
The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking a highly experienced Testing Coordinator Consultant to support the eFile and Pay project. This role is strictly onsite in Tallahassee, FL remote work is not permitted.
Required Experience:
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
3+ years of experience in IT Testing and Testing Lead roles (including test script development, team management, and execution oversight).
5+ years of experience with Agile project methodologies.
2+ years of experience implementing online submission or ordering systems with payment processing.
5+ years of experience using Issue and Project Tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Testing Certification ISTQB or equivalent is mandatory.
Preferred Skills & Expertise:
Strong background in quality assurance across various testing types: functional, integration, regression, performance, accessibility, and usability.
Ability to translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test scripts.
Experience defining test strategies and test plans with detailed scope, timelines, and resource needs.
Strong defect management skills including prioritization and resolution tracking based on business impact.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
Experience with:
Jira
Azure DevOps
Microsoft Office 365 suite
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as Testing Coordinator for the eFile and Pay project.
Define and manage test plans, cases, and data to validate requirements.
Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Produce detailed testing reports covering status, issues, defects, owners, resolution timelines, and risks.
Collaborate with testers to assign and execute test scripts efficiently.
Ensure adherence to Departmental standards and protocols.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Certification:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field.
ISTQB Certification (or equivalent testing credential).
