RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician in Corvallis, OR.

Summary:
We are seeking an early-career Repair and Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and continuous improvement of high-performance equipment and processes in a dynamic test and operations environment. This role is ideal for individuals with up to 2 years of hands-on experience who are eager to develop expertise in electromechanical systems, process maintenance, and PLC/software controls.

Key Responsibilities:
* Apply developing technical knowledge to resolve complex maintenance and process issues across test and production equipment
* Assist engineers in troubleshooting and supporting electromechanical systems and software applications
* Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), system calibrations, and repair tasks independently
* Support and execute PLC/Controls programming, code writing, and system diagnostics
* Manage spare parts inventory and recommend improvements to reduce equipment downtime
* Participate in workflow analysis and propose efficiency improvements for processes and equipment usage
* Maintain and contribute to documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree or certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent military/technical training)
* 0-2 years of hands-on experience in repair, maintenance, or troubleshooting of automated systems or manufacturing equipment
* Familiarity with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and control systems
* Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software-based diagnostic tools
* Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
* Experience working in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment
* Exposure to CMMS or maintenance tracking systems
* Knowledge of calibration procedures and documentation best practices

Working Conditions:
* May involve standing, lifting, or exposure to equipment noise and motion

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
