Job Description

ServiceNow Architect

* 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture/design/development roles. Experience in banking or financial services strongly preferred.

* Hands-on expertise in ITSM, ITOM, GRC/IRM, SecOps, and CMDB. Knowledge of HRSD and CSM is a plus.

* Strong knowledge & experience of Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Scoped Apps, ATF, and Service Portal/UI Builder

* Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with core financial apps, identity management, and monitoring tools

* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). A Certified Implementation Specialist (CISA at least one module) A Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application Developer (CAD) preferred

1. Platform Architecture & Strategy

Define and maintain the ServiceNow architectural blueprint and roadmap for the bank.

Align ServiceNow implementations with banking security, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, FFIEC, GLBA).

Evaluate new ServiceNow products and releases for applicability to financial services use cases.

2. Solution Design & Delivery

Lead the end-to-end design & development for modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, SecOps, and IRM.

Integrate ServiceNow with core banking systems, identity management (SailPoint, Okta), and monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics).

Establish data and integration models using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and Event Management.

Provide technical governance and design review for all ServiceNow projects.

3. Platform Governance & Optimization

Define governance frameworks, naming conventions, and code quality standards.

Conduct performance tuning, instance health checks, and ensure platform scalability.

Manage the CMDB design and data integrity, ensuring accurate asset and configuration tracking.

4. Stakeholder & Team Leadership

Partner with CIO/CTO offices, IT Operations, Security, and Compliance teams.

Provide technical leadership to developers, administrators, and process owners.

Act as trusted advisor for ServiceNow roadmap planning and license optimization.
