Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Automation Specialist

Location: Remote

Mode: Fulltime

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Automation Specialist to lead and implement enterprise-wide automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure automation, with a strong background in cloud and on-prem automation, IaC , and RPA.

This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale automation solutions to optimize IT operations, and improve efficiency across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. End-to-End IT Automation & Orchestration
  • Lead and execute end-to-end automation initiatives such as:

o Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) automation for user lifecycle management.

o Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelining for automated infrastructure deployment.

o Automated incident response, monitoring, and remediation workflows.

o Automated VM management

o ServiceNow workflow automations

  • Work with stakeholders across IT, security, and Application to streamline automation processes.
  1. Active Directory, Messaging & Identity Automation
  • Automate Active Directory (AD) user provisioning, group policies, RBAC, and security policies.
  • Implement Azure AD identity lifecycle automation to ensure compliance with governance policies.
  • Automation related to exchange online, SharePoint and Teams
  1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Automation
  • Design, implement, and manage IaC pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management across AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
  • Ensure consistent, scalable, and compliant infrastructure deployments.
  1. DevOps & CI/CD Pipeline Automation
  • Integrate infrastructure automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Ansible
  • Develop and manage automated patching, updates, and configuration management workflows.
  • Support containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration automation.
  1. General Infrastructure Automation
  • Develop PowerShell, shell scripts to automate manual IT infrastructure tasks.
  • Create automated health check reports and dashboard
  • Create even driven automation using observability tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure automation
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end automation initiatives (JML workflows, IaC pipelines, ITSM integrations).
  • Hands on experience with ServiceNow Workflows and integration hub
  • Strong scripting & automation expertise (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, RBAC, identity governance.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud automation (AWS, Azure, VMware).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust models.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, DevOps, or IT automation (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with ServiceNow automation and ITSM integrations.
