Job Details

VDart is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the automotive domain and a proven track record of modernizing legacy platforms. This role focuses on driving the end-to-end modernization of a mission-critical backend platform that supports multiple customer products and state implementations.

The platform currently operates on a legacy technology stack (C, Linux, Oracle) in a monolithic architecture, posing scalability, performance, and maintainability challenges. The Solution Architect will lead the stabilization, operating system upgrade, and migration to AWS Cloud, ensuring a secure, resilient, and scalable architecture for future growth.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design, with a strong focus on legacy platform modernization.
  • Expert-level proficiency in C programming, Linux internals, Oracle databases, and integration of monolithic applications.
  • Proven experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, Batch, IAM, Networking, and Security.
  • Strong background in designing active-active, multi-site architectures for enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with OS upgrades, porting, and compiler-level fixes.
  • Automotive domain experience or experience in regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git migration, containerization, and monitoring tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
