Job Details

Description

Gather and define mechanical and electrical requirements of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for SDV-based architecture. Specify conventional passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle Compute Control Unit (CCU) Farm, Microprocessor/Mechatronic Control Unit (MCU) Farm, and Aggregators packaging locations (mass, weight, durability, mounting of fasteners, connector (header/harness) interface specifications, and ECU serviceability), sealing requirements (water and dust intrusion) according to IEC International Protection Code, and thermal requirements (flow rates, pressure drop, and liquid cooling temperatures based on cooling loops between ECUs and power electronics controllers (battery packs and Traction Power Inverter Module, using Tortoise SVN, Tortoise Git, Jira, Jira Align, and IBM RTC tools, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Deliver passenger vehicle CCU Farm, MCU Farm, Aggregators, and various other actuators and sensors (E-devices) Component Technical Requirements and Specifications (CTRS) to Controller Design Release Engineers. Ensure and maintain common ECU Bill of Design imperatives and Controller supplier benchmark library.

Additional Description

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, Specialist, or related role. Must also have experience with: specifying or testing passenger vehicle or construction machine Electronic Control Units (ECUs) mounting locations (durability, brackets, fasteners, connectors (headers/wiring harnesses))
