Job Details
Baer is looking for QA Automation Engineer for a 6+ month project located in Santa Clara, CA
Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Onsite Santa Clara, CA (3-4 days/week required)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Description:
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Selenium and Java.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure high test coverage and quality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Report defects and track them to closure using appropriate tools.
- Ensure scalability and reliability of automated test suites.
- Contribute to test strategies for large, complex ServiceNow implementations and integrations.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Core Java for test automation.
- Proven experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience testing web applications and RESTful APIs.
