Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will work with a variety of Microsoft and cloud technologies to design, implement, and support IT solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a proven ability to manage projects effectively while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, and related platforms.
Deploy, configure, and manage Azure services such as Azure Compute, Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Entra ID.
Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender to ensure optimal security measures.
Perform application packaging and manage patches for both applications and operating systems.
Support SharePoint migrations, Entra ID migrations, and Microsoft Intune implementations, including Mobile Device Management.
Set up, manage, and maintain firewalls, network switches, and wireless access points (WAPs).
Assist in onboarding new clients by implementing IT solutions tailored to their needs.
Monitor for security incidents, recommend remediation actions, and implement solutions.
Draft, edit, and interpret IT policies and procedural documentation.
Provide help desk support as needed to ensure seamless client operations.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or the service industry.
At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience with Microsoft technologies.
Strong expertise in working with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Proven ability to configure and manage Cisco technologies, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian Jira, CRM, ERP systems, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
Experience in managing budgets and implementing change management processes.
Microsoft certifications or active pursuit of relevant technical certifications highly preferred.
4+ years of experience working in a Managed Service Provider environment strongly preferred.
