RANGE AND EFFICIENCY CAE SPECIALIST, Role:

Focused on maximizing range and energy efficiency for electric and hybrid vehicles, this role involves setting efficiency targets, conducting simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate energy-saving features. The Range and Efficiency Engineer ensures optimal vehicle performance by improving aerodynamics, rolling resistance, and powertrain efficiency.

RANGE AND EFFICIENCY CAE SPECIALIST, Key Responsibilities:

Direct experience in building and leading a vehicle simulation team in predicting range, fuel economy

Expert knowledge of regulations regarding range and fuel economy

First hand experience in tool development

Experience in defining and applying use cases to size and specify components and subsystems

Use expertise to correlate virtual to physical. Sign-off virtual performance based on simulation models.

Proficiency in Range & Efficiency simulation tools like GT-SUITE, MATLAB/Simulink
