Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technical proposals, execution strategies, and project deliverables to meet program objectives
- Oversee the integrity and accuracy of engineering documentation, conduct plan reviews, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ABS and USCG
- Coordinate submissions and resolve comments with regulatory bodies, including ABS, USCG, and the shipyard
- Manage technical requirements, design modifications, and assess weight and stability impacts throughout the project lifecycle
- Support construction phases, including commissioning, testing, and vessel system turnover
- Prepare and present program status updates, reports, and technical briefings to stakeholders and senior management
- Attend shipyard visits, dock trials, and sea trials to ensure project alignment and issue resolution
- Ensure all technical deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Lead logistics and In-Service Support (ILS) products, as well as vessel operational documentation, to facilitate seamless vessel operation and maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years supporting new construction shipbuilding programs, with proven project management experience
- Strong understanding of ABS and USCG requirements, along with marine regulatory standards
- Ability to interpret government contracts, technical specifications, and navigate complex technical documentation
- Exceptional written communication skills, including proposal writing and report development
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities, with an emphasis on detail-oriented work
- Capable of working independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint platforms
- Experience with ABS NS-E standards is preferred
