Location: Brooklyn, OH (This position can be either Remote or Onsite)

Job Brief
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data classifiers and overseeing various engineering initiatives, including software administration.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage Data Classifiers: Develop, implement, and maintain data classifiers in Microsoft Purview (and possibly other environments forthcoming) to ensure data security and compliance.
- Software Administration: Oversee the administration of security software and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively protecting our systems.
- Security Engineering Initiatives: Lead and participate in various security engineering projects to enhance our security posture.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and develop policies and procedures to support these requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and engineering teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization's operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on data classification and software administration. Experience with Microsoft E5 security tools preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of data classification systems, security software administration, risk assessment, and compliance standards.
