Senior Workday Project Manager
Atlanta, GA (On-site 3 days per week)
6 months contract
Project Leadership
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of Workday (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting) and other cloud-based application initiatives.
Define scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
Apply Workday methodologies and governance best practices to ensure successful deployments.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Act as the primary point of contact for Workday project workstreams and cross-functional teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring clarity and alignment.
Execution & Resource Oversight
Coordinate resources across HR, Finance, IT, and third-party vendors.
Monitor progress, track deliverables, and remove roadblocks to ensure on-time delivery.
Risk, Budget & Change Management
Identify and mitigate risks, manage budgets, and forecast resource requirements.
Lead scope control and change management to ensure minimal business disruption.
Communication & Reporting
Provide concise updates, executive briefings, and stakeholder reports.
Track performance against KPIs and conduct post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure projects meet industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
Maintain quality assurance across all deliverables.
PMP or equivalent certification required.
4+ years of Workday project management experience, including implementations, integrations, and optimizations.
Deep knowledge of Workday core modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Recruiting).
Proven experience leading cross-functional, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
Background in Agile and Waterfall/hybrid methodologies.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Workday integrations, data migration, and vendor methodology experience preferred.
