IT Analyst
Summary:
The IT Analyst performs duties across the IT roles of IT Technician and Systems Analyst. The daily workload will fluctuate and consist of portions of each role. A typical day will consist of performing break/fix tasks mixed with creating, updating, and executing SQL reports and providing application support for our ERP system.
Essential Functions/Primary Duties:
IT Technician role:
- Provide support of hardware/software running on workstations as needed.
- Troubleshoot workstation, network, and peripheral devices, when escalated.
- Perform account administration, when needed.
- Assist with training new IT employees and company employees, as needed.
Systems Analyst role:
- Creating SQL queries using MYSQL at the request of executive management to mine information, produce reports, and process batch updates to inventory.
- Support our ERP system by using a knowledge of the databases and software to troubleshoot business issues, ensure the software is working correctly, correct data problems, and ensure integrations with other software is fully functional.
- Work with vendors to coordinate updates to system software, enhancements to enterprise software, and other issues as identified.
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in an IT related discipline required. Bachelor s degree in an IT related discipline preferred.
- 1-3 years building supporting an ERP system highly desired.
- 1-3 years writing and altering SQL code required.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software
- Working knowledge of servers.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with Active Directory/Domain management preferred.
- Experience with general IT support highly desired.

Working Conditions:
The work environment is typical of an office setting with occasional work required in the warehouse or after normal business hours.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is a non-supervisory position.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional standing when working on issues or assisting with problem resolution.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, day shift position with typical work hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some after-hours work is probable, as some activities must be performed when users are not active. Potential for some flexibility in start/stop times.
