Description

We are in the process of recruiting a talented Technical Engineer to be based in Wilmington, Massachusetts. This role falls within the software industry and is primarily focused on GUI Development using C#. The successful candidate will be expected to design and implement GUI interfaces and controls for machine controls and electro-mechanical systems, as well as interface C# code with embedded real-time C++ code.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement GUI interfaces and controls using C# for machine controls and electro-mechanical systems.
Interface C# code with embedded real-time C++ code, including GUI development using C#/WPF.
Develop a solid understanding of software configuration management and source control systems.
Utilize strong analytical and communication skills to resolve issues and improve processes.
Gain experience with SQL-type database systems.
Develop a background in Mechatronics and interfacing concepts.
Expand knowledge in the field of Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing.

Requirements

Proficiency in C# programming language is required
Demonstrable experience with Graphical User Interface (GUI) development
Must have solid knowledge and experience in C++ programming language
Familiarity with real-time systems is necessary
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
Proven experience as a Technical Engineer or similar role within the tech industry
Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to keep up to date with the latest technology trends and innovations
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours for system upgrades or resolving technical issues.
