Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineer (Associate, Experienced or Senior)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), is seeking highly driven and exceptional Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineers (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join the 777X/787 Integrated Modular Avionics team in Everett, WA.
Position Overview:
All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software. Responsibilities include translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a global team and supplier base to implement system hardware and software. Verify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing. Work with airplane systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-service life.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Everett, WA).

- Support of System Safety Analysis and Safety of Flight determinations.
- Support of computing hardware and software, and execution of ground-based software tools.
Position Responsibilities:
- Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solves problems concerning, and provides other support of, fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 1+ years of experience in an engineering role.
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills / Experience):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience within Electronic Systems hardware and software design
- Familiarity with engineering processes and methods
- Knowledge of FAA certification
- Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment
- Experience with Model Based Development tools.
