At least 5+ years of SAP Hybris, Java Spring. Promotions/Cart Management, data modeling part would be good to have since they work mainly on these. Hands on development. Should be able to customize the product, etc. 5 days in office.

Title: Technical Lead Developer

Job Description (3 month contract- onsite in North Dallas, TX)

As a Technical Lead Developer, you will spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of our client's SAP Commerce Cloud e-commerce platform, emphasizing seamless web service integrations and scalable, high-performance solutions. You will guide a cross-functional team to deliver innovative e-commerce solutions, collaborating with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to elevate the customer experience. Proficiency in SAP Commerce Cloud, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, and Low Code/No Code tools will enhance your ability to drive system innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the design, development, and upkeep of SAP Commerce Cloud-based e-commerce solutions, focusing on web services, API integrations, and Microservices architecture.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, promoting best practices in SAP Commerce development and system integration.
• Provide technical leadership in adopting modern technologies, frameworks, and tools, including Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, and Low Code/No Code platforms.
• Build and enhance RESTful web services to support business functions and improve integrations with internal and external systems.
• Leverage Spring Boot and Microservices to create scalable, modular, and maintainable solutions.
• Enhance SAP Commerce platform performance, scalability, and reliability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Lead integration efforts for SAP Commerce with external systems, such as payment gateways, CRM, ERP, and third-party APIs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and non-technical stakeholders, to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Utilize Angular for frontend enhancements, ensuring smooth integration with back-end systems.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.
• Oversee unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure solution reliability and quality.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and API documentation.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on SAP Commerce Cloud development.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable, high-performance web services, including RESTful APIs.
• Experience leading Microservices-based solution development and integration with SAP Commerce.
• Familiarity with Low Code/No Code platforms to enhance business process automation and development efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce modules, including Product Content Management (PCM), Order Management, and Customer Service.
  
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in developing and integrating RESTful web services and APIs.
• Experience with SAP Commerce OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) for system integrations.
• Familiarity with integration protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, JMS, and WebSockets.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies, particularly Angular.
• Strong experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of databases and cloud platforms is an advantage.
