Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • System Configuration: Assist in configuring and customizing the Meditech Expanse solution to align with the organization's specific needs and clinical workflows.
  • This may involve Meditech reporting and interfaces as well.
  • User Support: Provide frontline support to clinical staff and end-users of the Meditech system, addressing inquiries, issues, and user training needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining data integrity within the Meditech system by ensuring that appointment data is accuXXly captured and follows best practices.
  • Implement quality control measures to verify the accuracy of data.
  • Workflow Analysis: CollaboXX with healthcare providers to analyze Meditech workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work towards streamlining and optimizing Meditech processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and issue resolutions.
  • Ensure that documentation is readily available for reference and audits.
  • Training: Provide training to clinical staff and end-users on how to effectively use the Meditech system.
  • Create training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: GeneXX reports from the Meditech system and analyze data to assess its performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that Meditech system usage complies with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use (MIPS/MACRA).
  • Collaboration: CollaboXX with healthcare providers, administrators, and IT teams to understand their Meditech needs and challenges, and work to address them.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and troubleshooting issues related to the Meditech system, working with senior analysts or IT teams to resolve problems and maintain system stability.
Qualifications:
  • Technical bachelor's degree or a degree in healthcare informatics, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse Solution and at least one other module is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and EHR platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance, including HIPAA.
  • Customer service orientation and a willingness to work close.
