Job Details

Role: AI Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 5 Months

Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1

We are seeking an AI Developer with strong Python expertise to build and secure Azure-based GenAI solutions. The role focuses on RAG systems, agentic AI, and AI DevSecOps, with an emphasis on security, observability, and production readiness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and operate RAG pipelines using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search (embeddings, chunking, re-ranking, citations).
  • Build secure agentic AI solutions using AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
  • Implement AI DevSecOps: CI/CD with Azure DevOps, prompt-injection defense, red-teaming, and audit logging.
  • Integrate Azure services (APIM, Key Vault, Event Hub, App Insights) with strong security and RBAC controls.
  • Design production-grade chatbots and AI services with monitoring, telemetry, and guardrails.

 

Required Skills:

  • 4-5 years total software development experience, with 2+ years in applied LLM/GenAI.
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Hands-on Azure AI / Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search.
  • Experience with AI security, prompt safety, and secure API design.
  • Azure PaaS experience (APIM, Functions/Web Apps, Key Vault).

 

Certifications (any of):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100)
