Lead Data Engineer / Gaming

A gaming company that partners with professional gamers and provides services/tooling to the top PvP games on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC is hiring a Lead Data Engineer to join the team. This company works with real-time streaming data from the PvP games and is looking for a leader who will help them continue to grow and architect new ETL pipelines. This team uses Python, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, PySpark, Spark, SQL, Snowflake, and DBT. If you have an interest in gaming and working with large amounts of data then this role is for you!

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years professional Data Engineering Experience
• Experience working for a growing startup
• 5 years of experience building ETL pipelines with Python, SQL, Cloud
• Experience working with large amounts of data

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors in STEM field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience Segmenting Game data and tracking user performance
