Position: SAP IS-U FICA Lead

Location: Remote or Texas

Experience: 10+ Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP IS-U FICA professional with deep expertise in financial contract accounting, billing integration, and end-to-end customer financial processes. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge, solid technical understanding, and proven experience handling AMS support and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support SAP IS-U FICA functional activities across implementations and AMS engagements.
  • Perform FICA configuration and solution design across:
    • Main/Sub Transactions, Payment Hierarchy, Clearing Rules
    • Dunning, Security Deposits, Installment Plans, Tax Configuration
    • Returns, Refunds, Write-offs, Cash Desk, Open Item Management
    • Batch Job Scheduling, EMMA Monitoring, Clarification Cases
  • Manage integration with modules such as CRM, FI, Device Management, SD Billing, and Print Workbench.
  • Configure Payment Plans (Budget Billing, AMB), Reconciliation Key Transfers, and Direct Debit setups.
  • Analyze and resolve incidents across Billing and FICA modules.
  • Perform root cause analysis and deploy permanent fixes for recurring issues.
  • Monitor and optimize background jobs, interface queues, and end-to-end processes.
  • Handle service requests, change requests, and enhancement deployments.
  • Prepare Functional Specifications and Business Design Documents.
  • Collaborate in offshore onsite delivery models and support shift-based AMS operations.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills

  • ABAP debugging experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
