Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr Product Manager I to join our Product & Technology team. This pivotal role will oversee the development and implementation of legal technology solutions and key product initiatives that support the Legal department’s strategic goals. This role will focus on partnering with Legal stakeholders to modernize, optimize, and innovate legal operations through technology. The Sr Product Manager will collaborate closely with technical teams, business leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to drive product excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
• Partner directly with the Legal team to understand their workflows, challenges, and technology needs.
• Use elaboration sessions, design thinking workshops, and other techniques to build and prioritize your product's roadmap and backlog and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Lead the selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of legal technology platforms (e.g., contract lifecycle management, matter management, e-discovery, compliance tools).
• Lead your product's operational ceremonies and communications.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Legal, IT, and external vendors.
• Analyze data and create reports to identify trends and opportunities for improving and optimizing your product.
• Stay current on legal technology trends, innovations in AI, product management and the broader real estate industry, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Utilize common tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Copilot.
What You Need to Succeed:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or other related field.
• Experience working with legal technology platforms or supporting legal operations.
• Familiarity with legal processes, compliance, and risk management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with legal professionals and translate legal needs into technical solutions.
• Well-versed in defining roadmaps and collaborating with teams that employ agile/scrum software development methodologies across multiple initiatives and projects concurrently.
• Ability to document system design, create specifications, flow charts, and other related diagrams based on needs.
• Results-oriented and experienced in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by influencing others, without the need to project formal authority. Strong consensus and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels.
• Experience with legal technology platforms (e.g. Icertis, Exterro, DocuSign, Onit, etc.)
