Appian Technical Lead

We are currently seeking an AVP - Technical Lead that will lead in driving the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions that support business objectives.

REQUIRED:

• Strong Appian Experience: Must have hands-on experience with Appian.
• Insurance Background: Prior experience in the insurance industry, ideally building underwriting workflows.
• Technical Leadership: Ability to take a hands-on role, provide architectural guidance.

Role: Technical Lead / Appian

Location: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days in Iselin, NJ or NYC)

Type: w2 / Contract to Hire

Job Duties

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions to support business strategies.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and architecture principles.
• Act as a key advisor to senior management on technology trends, innovations, and opportunities to enhance business operations.
• Oversee and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Preferred Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software development, or technology leadership roles.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT systems and architectures.
• Appian Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Appian components such as Process Designing, SAIL, Rules, Security, and Integration.
• Proficiency in Appian Designer, low-code development, BPMN, and data modeling
• Integration and Architecture: Understanding of integrations with REST, SOAP, and other systems; knowledge of Appian architecture and infrastructure
