Technology Procurement and Service Coordination Specialist (Remote)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technology Procurement and Service Coordination Specialist to support our client s IT operations on a contract basis. This role is essential in managing software procurement, vendor relationships, service level adherence, and request coordination within the technology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial orientation towards budgeting and cost management, coupled with excellent communication and analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.

- This job expects to pay about $20 - $30 per hour

What You Will Do:
- Software and Hardware Procurement Assistance: Support the end-to-end procurement process for software licenses, subscriptions, hardware, and related services. Conduct vendor research, evaluate proposals, perform quote comparisons, and effectively process purchase orders. Ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance with contracts, and adherence to organizational policies.
- Service Request Coordination and Vendor Coordination: Facilitate coordination of technology service requests routed through the general service mailbox. Prioritize, create, and track requisitions to ensure timely response and fulfillment in line with internal SLAs. Maintain effective communication with vendors, addressing queries, resolving issues, and monitoring contract and SLA compliance. Act as the liaison between vendors and internal teams for smooth service delivery.
- Project and Initiative Coordination: Aid in coordinating technology initiatives and projects by tracking progress, supporting milestone adherence, and ensuring timely completion. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders for seamless execution and updates.
- Budget Support: Assist in preparing and managing technology budgets, ensuring accuracy, timely tracking, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Asset Management: Manage software licensing by assigning licenses to colleagues and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use analytical tools to analyze data, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate documentation of processes, workflows, and project updates for clear communication and stakeholder review.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multiple teams to gather requirements, provide analysis, and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
What You Bring to The Table:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Solid financial acumen with general experience in budget tracking and cost management.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and professional development.
- Customer service oriented with proven ability to foster positive stakeholder relationships.
- Enthusiastic learner with a keen interest in technology advancements and procurement innovations.
- Knowledge of business analysis, budgeting, procurement, and vendor management processes is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Power BI and Excel is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus.
