About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager with extensive experience in network management and consolidation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) networks and have a proven track record in managing complex network consolidation projects. Experience in the aviation industry is highly desirable. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders, and the capability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project completion. The position is based in Los Angeles and requires onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead and manage network consolidation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met within the stipulated time, budget, and quality parameters.
MPLS Network Expertise: Utilize extensive MPLS experience to guide network consolidation efforts, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of network performance.
Scheduling & Planning: Develop detailed project schedules, manage timelines, and coordinate resources to ensure the efficient execution of network consolidation processes.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with various stakeholders, including technical teams, management, and external partners, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and projects concurrently.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration and communication among diverse groups to achieve project milestones.
Onsite Coordination: Be available to work onsite in Los Angeles, coordinating with local teams and stakeholders to oversee project activities and address any onsite challenges.
Testing & Validation: Oversee and participate in testing phases to ensure network changes and consolidations meet all performance and reliability standards.
Issue Resolution: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution to keep the project on track.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical project management with a focus on networking and network consolidation.
Network Skills: Strong expertise in MPLS networks and hands-on experience in network consolidation projects.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the aviation industry, particularly in airport environments, is a significant plus.
Project Scheduling: Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules and timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent skills in managing and coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Organizational Aptitude: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Cross-Functional Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
Testing Proficiency: Experience with network testing and validation processes.
Onsite Availability: Must be able to work onsite in Los Angeles.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 per hourly on C2C. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
