Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Midland, Texas, within the dynamic Oil & Gas industry. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing business processes, managing projects, and driving solutions that align with strategic objectives. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end users, ensuring application stability and efficient workflow processes.
Develop comprehensive business cases to support strategic decisions and project initiatives.
Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, aligning them with business goals.
Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
Create detailed documentation of functional and technical requirements to support project objectives.
Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions to bridge them effectively.
Investigate root causes of issues and implement appropriate resolutions to address them.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong understanding of production operations, production accounting, and regulatory processes within the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Spotfire, and Power BI.
Familiarity with ProCount, Ignition, Intelex, Scout, Execute, or Databricks is highly desirable.
Experience with Power Apps or Power Automate is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and business process functions.
Ability to create project documentation and effectively engage with stakeholders.
