Job Details

Title: Sr Data Engineer
Location: Remote
Contract: W2 - 4+ months with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $60/Hr to $70/Hr

Job Description:
The main function of the Data Engineer is to develop, evaluate, test and maintain architectures and data solutions within our organization. The typical Data Engineer executes plans, policies, and practices that control, protect, deliver, and enhance the value of the organization s data assets.

This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material. I.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, animal abuse, self-injury and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.

Job Responsibilities:
Build and maintain dashboards using our client s standard tooling in support of user analytics across a broad set of partners (product, engineering, data science)
Build and maintain data pipelines which support data useability and efficiency across product use cases
Leverage data modeling principles to design and update data models in support of useability and efficient use of resources
Clearly document tooling built for consumption by multiple audiences (product, technical, non-technical)
Support teams oncall per team's schedule to respond to system issues and failures, and address questions about the teams analytics infrastructure
Support client's Integrity data infrastructure which supports actioning across multiple platforms

Skills:
Programming (Python, SQL)
Data Modeling principles (star schema, dimensional and fact tables, entity relationships)
Data visualization techniques
Ability to work in a fast paced environment through quick delivery and follow-up iteration

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
Process certification, such as, Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.
