Job Details

Requirements:
  • 7 or more years of experience in document accessibility testing and remediation.
  • Proficiency in PDF WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (tagging, logical structure, forms, links).
  • Experience in Microsoft Word WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (styles, headings, alt text, reading order).
  • Experience with accessibility testing tools and compliance management software.
  • Experience with researching and interpreting complex regulations (ADA, Section 508).
  • Experience with training staff on creating compliant documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and remediate existing digital documents (Word and PDF) to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • Ensure large volumes of documents achieve full ADA compliance and pass accessibility validation tools.
  • Track the status of each assigned court form throughout the remediation process.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure compliance with accessibility requirements.
  • Manage sensitive information and situations related to document remediation.
  • Provide problem-solving solutions to achieve compliance with federal regulations.
  • Maintain proficiency with relevant technology and accessibility tools.
