Cloud Data Architect Azure & Fabric
We have an immediate need for a Data Architect (Data & Analytics) with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure cloud technologies for a Hybrid position at Camden, NJ
This individual will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that align with Cooper's business objectives. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud-based data lakehouse architectures, specifically using Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Model, Data Factory, and Power BI.
To be successful in this position, one needs to be a seasoned data engineering professional capable of leading technical design, integrating data from multiple sources, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate will also establish Medallion architecture standards, lead Microsoft Purview governance practices, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into efficient technical implementations.
The role also includes mentoring development teams, documenting architecture and workflows, and staying current with advancements in the Microsoft data platform. The candidate's ability to drive innovation in data integration, cloud automation, and advanced analytics will be critical in Cooper's journey toward a modern data landscape.
