Role: Sr. Software Developer

Location: Nashville, TN & Dallas, TX (hybrid - 2-3 days onsite) - preferred or Remote

Long Term

Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years experience with Teradata (Vantage) or any RDBMS system/ ETL Tools.
Experience with HL7, FHIR, JSON files structures.
Able to validate data, perform data analysis, load data into appropriate systems and organize it to get meaningful reports.
Able to conduct testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to master data management and system integrity.
Experience with AWS capabilities Glue, DynamoDB, Lambda, Redshift, elastic search.
Good experience with testing concepts and expertise in tools such as Postman.
Good experience on API testing on integrating with multiple systems and vendors.
Proficiency in SQL, relational and non-relational databases, query optimization and data modelling.
Experience in Healthcare
Excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide expert content/professional leadership on complex Engineering assignments/ projects.
Design and develop a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which store all critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and Benefits data. Design, develop, and implement methods, processes, tools and analyses to sift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns.
Participate in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enable strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via analytics and reporting. Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
Use deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
Focus on providing thought leadership within Information Management and work on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.
Be recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
Recommends ways to strengthen data integrity, quality, and availability across the organization.

May own assigned functions to provide system support and data quality governance.
Complete day-to-day tasks without immediate supervision but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues.
Resolve non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members.
