Shift Details:
The position can start out as either a 1st shift or 3rd shift opportunity, but would only be available as a 3rd shift opportunity upon conversion to a permanent employee.

This role focuses on transitioning company systems to Windows 11 and maintaining overall functionality of IT infrastructure. The technician will support users by ensuring all hardware, software, and network components operate efficiently. Responsibilities also include proactive maintenance, technical documentation, and participation in projects to improve departmental workflows.

Overview:
This role focuses on transitioning company systems to Windows 11 and maintaining overall functionality of IT infrastructure. The technician will support users by ensuring all hardware, software, and network components operate efficiently. Responsibilities also include proactive maintenance, technical documentation, and participation in projects to improve departmental workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate devices and systems to Windows 11
- Provide frontline support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to help desk requests and log completed work
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
- Build and configure desktops and laptops including OS installation and peripherals
- Manage and update system documentation and computer imaging libraries
- Troubleshoot issues including malware removal and basic network diagnostics
- Escalate advanced technical issues to appropriate personnel
- Contribute to ongoing departmental projects
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Windows environments (10/11)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and desktop support
- Familiarity with Active Directory and common administrative tasks
- Knowledge of computer imaging and documentation best practices
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- A+ or Network+ Certification
- Experience using ticketing systems
- Ability to interpret technical data and prioritize multiple tasks
- Collaborative attitude with strong communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft tools and utilities
