Web Developer (.NET/C#)

Location: Onsite in Atlanta, GA
Contract: 6-month Contract
Hours: 7:00am 3:30pm, Monday Friday

We are seeking a Web Developer to join a small, collaborative IT team contributing to larger organizational initiatives. This role will focus on designing and building a new recruitment website as well as maintaining existing applications. It s a great opportunity to work in a lean, fast-moving environment where developers own their projects end-to-end.

About the Team

  • Small team of 4 developers within a larger IT department (networking, helpdesk, and programming)
  • Developers typically work independently on their own projects, but collaborate for testing and support
  • Tech stack includes .NET, C#, SQL Server, MVC frameworks, SQL Reporting, and DevOps
  • Primarily Microsoft environment, with some legacy applications in VB.NET

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET/C# and SQL Server backend
  • Lead the build of a new recruitment-focused website, owning the project lifecycle
  • Write clean, scalable code following best practices
  • Collaborate with teammates to perform testing (no dedicated QA team)
  • Work independently while supporting a mission-driven, collaborative environment
  • Ensure deliverables meet organizational and technical standards

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 5 years of web development experience (strong candidates with 2 years may be considered)
  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, and SQL Server
  • Experience with MVC frameworks and SQL Reporting
  • Familiarity with DevOps for source code management
  • Ability to own projects independently while collaborating with peers

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in regulated or government environments
  • Exposure to VB.NET for legacy project support
  • QA/testing experience in environments without a dedicated QA team
