Job Details

Our East Coast Healthcare client is seeking an experienced OHS Integration Developer to support the implementation of Enterprise Health, a new Occupational Health System (OHS) for our client. The ideal candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for integration design, configuration, and build activities-ensuring seamless connectivity between Enterprise Health and key systems across the organization. This role will also lead the ongoing management and optimization of the OHS platform following go-live in September 2026. Our client ideally wants to bring on this consultant in a Contract-to-hire capacity. This role is largely remote, with occasional travel to Boston MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and development of integrations for the Enterprise Health platform.
  • Serve as a technical SME during system implementation and post go-live operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the System Administrator, BCH project team, and vendor resources.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with critical enterprise systems including:
    • Epic (HL7 for lab orders, reports, vaccination data)
    • PeopleSoft
    • SailPoint (Security)
    • Massachusetts State Registry (ODBC connection and single sign-on)
    • Various APIs for data exchange and automation.
  • Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and compliant with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Support documentation, testing, and validation of integration workflows.
  • Provide ongoing support and system enhancements after go-live.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Integration Developer or Interface Engineer in healthcare or enterprise IT environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Epic HL7 integrations, API development, and data exchange frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Health or similar occupational health systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating with PeopleSoft, SailPoint, and state registry systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a project-based environment.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
