This will involve partnering with our Network operations peer group in operational support, technical design, and driving best-of-breed technical standards into all three environments in an evolving fashion.

As this role is part of our continued growth and technical evolution in our cloud environments, agility is a must-have regarding being able to handle context switching through project delivery and operational support response across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI. With a relentless focus on our customers, high-quality engineering, and a curiosity-driven approach, this role is critical to propel and shape our technical future in a multi-cloud world.

What you'll do...

  • Design and support Google Cloud Platform network environments by leveraging cloud-native services such as Network Connectivity Center (NCC), Cloud VPN, Cloud Load Balancers, VPC Constructs, and Service Networking.
  • Design and support Azure network environments by leveraging cloud-native services such as Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Load Balancers, Azure DNS, and Azure Virtual Network Gateways (VPN and ExpressRoute).
  • Design and support OCI network environments by leveraging cloud-native services such as Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Security Lists and Network Security Groups (NSGs), Load Balancers, DNS, Dynamic Routing Gateways (DRGs), Service Gateways, and Local Peering Gateways (LPGs).
  • Provide consistent design patterns to support a wide array of connected services such as SaaS providers, on-premise systems, and internal Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI services.

  • Deliver projects through cloud network constructs to support ongoing business requirements for a variety of internal stakeholders across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI .
  • Clearly articulate and communicate how technical components can support various environments within our Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI cloud platforms to peer groups, partner teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Interface with vendor teams to shape and adopt future product offerings within the Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI network space.
  • Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions between on-premise environments, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI.
  • Implement and manage network security policies consistently across all three cloud environments .
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to manage network infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI .
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues across all three cloud platforms using their respective monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloud Monitoring/Logging, Azure Monitor/Network Watcher, OCI Monitoring and Logging).
  • Design, implement, and manage Google Cloud Interconnect and Partner Interconnect connections to Equinix data centers.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to Google Cloud Interconnect and Partner Interconnect.
  • Optimize network performance for connections between Google Cloud Platform and Equinix data centers.
  • Plan and implement migrations of network infrastructure to or from Equinix data centers using Google Cloud Interconnect and Partner Interconnect.
