HBSS Administrator
The Opportunity:

We're looking for a systems administrator who installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server and systems configurations, both hardware and software, to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability to help us support our client.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll administer server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, perform systems monitoring, advise on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems' security and sustainability. You'll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in Host-Based Security System (HBSS) and client missions by safeguarding systems and infrastructure. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with systems administration
- Experience with monitoring HBSS on a daily basis
- Experience with managing systems and organizing into proper containers
- Ability to perform the evaluation of all point releases, including system update packages
- Ability to execute tests update packages monthly or as needed on fleet representative assets to ensure proper functionality prior to formal fleet release
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with administering, designing, and deploying the DoD HBSS endpoint security solution in DoD production environments
- Experience with NAVAIR HBSS representative to rectify issues
- Experience with Military Communications
- Ability to implement configuration management and develop secure system baselines to integrate an HBSS product
