Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will manage test planning, execution, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full testing life cycle, including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
Develop and maintain detailed test strategies, test plans, and test documentation.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Coordinate and manage onsite/offshore testing teams, assigning work, tracking progress, and providing guidance as needed.
Oversee functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Review and validate test scenarios, test cases, and test data created by the team.
Drive test automation initiatives and support the implementation of automation frameworks where applicable.
Conduct defect triage meetings, ensuring issues are prioritized and resolved within project timelines.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
Provide regular test execution reports, metrics, and quality updates to project stakeholders.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and constraints, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
Support production validation and post-deployment quality checks during release cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
experience in Software Testing, with at least 2 4 years in a Test Lead role.
Strong experience in test management, test design, and hands-on functional testing.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices.
Experience managing offshore teams and large-scale testing efforts.
Proficient in test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, qTest, TestRail, etc.).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
