Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Architect works with business and technology teams to develop and manage corporate and business strategies for applications and technologies that deliver and sustain end-to-end business operations.

They must be able to partner effectively with a wide range of teams, including business leaders, delivery teams and external partners in order to drive business success while promoting and ensuring alignment with the enterprise portfolio and technology strategy. Facilitating working sessions with the IT SLT and key IT and business team members toward the development of the IT Investment Plan and Technology roadmap. Supporting the IT Application and Portfolio Owners and business leaders in their domain for the development of the operating company and enterprise investment plans and technology roadmaps. Understanding current and projected business results and how the investment portfolio impacts those results. Understanding threats to achieving results and ensuring that the appropriate mitigating actions are being taken. Driving the identification of technology opportunities to positively impact business results. Recommending Lifecycle Planning (LCP) needs and identifying and driving business value through technology. Responsible to promote innovation that benefits a line of business and/or the enterprise: This includes: Identifying, researching, evaluating and tracking technology industry trends and developments. Collaborating with key technology vendors and industry leaders to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology. Developing proof of concept and/or prototypes to assess feasibility and fit of new technologies. Developing business cases and makes recommendations. Showcasing, communicating and marketing ideas and concepts. Leading EA Domain activities that ensure well-formed agendas and effective planning for each domain. EA Domains include Application, Data, Integration, Infrastructure, Security, Mobile and Cloud. Ensures clear guidelines and standards for technology product use within the enterprise Develops and maintains an integrated technology strategy, target architecture and governance for product lifecycle status within each domain. Maintains and drives data stewardship and the management of for our enterprise portfolio repository (e.g., planning and scoping enhancements, establishing related analytical tools, etc.).Provides EA leadership to solution / project architects for the company s most strategic, complex and high risk business initiatives and new initiatives within their domain. Provides thought leadership and guidance to business leaders on information system technologies, their roadmaps, their functionalities, costs, benefits, implementation requirements and additional opportunities to impact business results.
