Job Details

As a Technical Lead on our client s IT Platforms team, you ll play a key role in modernizing their customer-facing platforms and integrating legacy systems with new, cloud-native solutions. You ll lead engineering efforts, support commercial and business teams, and collaborate globally to ensure scalable, resilient delivery. This is a high-impact role with strong visibility and a technical focus, perfect for those who thrive at the intersection of architecture, innovation, and hands-on problem-solving.


  • Location: Hybrid 2 days per week onsite in San Diego, CA or Pembroke Pines, FL
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $160-170k annually
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role | No Corp-to-Corp (C2C)

What You ll Do:


  • Lead platform development for B2B, B2C, and B2B2C customer-facing systems using Java and AWS
  • Drive technical direction, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Resolve complex technical issues including performance tuning, latency, and production support
  • Collaborate across engineering, QA, DevOps, security, and business teams globally
  • Align partner and MSP deliverables with internal team capacity and delivery timelines

What Gets You the Job:


  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering with leadership responsibilities
  • Hands-on Java and AWS experience (Lambda, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, Terraform, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of microservices, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket), and Agile
  • Strong collaboration skills with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and global teams
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in production systems
